XTERRA Race at the Reservoir

XTERRA Race at the Rez is back for its 4th year and is one of over 50 point’s series races held in the USA. Competitors earn points based on their finishing place to vie for the title of XTERRA Regional Champion and qualify for the XTERRA USA Championship held in Utah at the end of the 2011 season. XTERRA Race At The Rez had the highest racer satisfaction rating in the Northeast and was tied for second place in overall XTERRA ratings.

On Line Registration will close at Midnight On Wednesday, July 27th. If you are still interested in racing on Sunday, July 31st you can still register at the race site on Saturday, July 30th  between the hours of noon and 4 PM. Water Temperature

As of July 20, 2011 the water temperature at Indian Brook Reservoir is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Please keep in mind that this is Vermont and a lot can change in a week. My advice is be ready for a non-wetsuit swim, but do not leave your wetsuit at home in case the temperature drops below 78 degrees.

Saturday, July 30th

  • 12:00 - 4:00 PM Registration and Race Packet pickup will be at transition at the race site.
  • 12: 00 – 4:00 PM course viewing and pre-riding will also be available.

Sunday, July 31st

  • 7:00 - 8:30 am ~ check-in, Packet pick-up, Body Marking
  • 8:45 am ~ Pre-race meeting
  • 9:00 am ~ Race starts
  • 1:00 pm ~ Course closed
  • 12:30-1:30 pm ~ Post-race party and awards

Parking at this event will be limited. We will do our best to accommodate all racers to park on race site. If we run out of parking, we will have additional parking at Essex Alliance Church which is approximately 1 mile away from the race site. If we do use this parking, we will have an equipment drop off area at the race site and ask that you park your car at this location. We will have a shuttle service to bring you back to the race site. Shuttles will be running after the race as well.
