XTERRA Race at the Reservoir

XTERRA Race at the Rez is back for its 4th year and is one of over 50 point’s series races held in the USA. Competitors earn points based on their finishing place to vie for the title of XTERRA Regional Champion and qualify for the XTERRA USA Championship held in Utah at the end of the 2011 season. XTERRA Race At The Rez had the highest racer satisfaction rating in the Northeast and was tied for second place in overall XTERRA ratings.

This race course starts with a Two lap swim in the clear waters of Indian Brook Reservoir. All racers then head out on a three  lap mountain biking course The trails are mostly single track and with some technical sections and include challenging rocky terrain, steep climbs and several fun and fast descents. For 2010, we took out the first technical climb section.The trail run portion of the race will take place on the trails within the boundaries of the park.  This year on the run course right out of transition you will start climbing to overlook point. This section of the course is a fun and technical trail run.    This course will challenge and excite both the Newbie’s and Seasoned Vets alike!
